Today, June 16th, after working for more than 3 hours, I finished all

templates of ChinaTunes.net, my first English weblog. The background is an

image of Dragon and Phoenix, which symbolize welfare and fortune in Chinese

fairy tale, with a title in festive and traditional style on the top of the

page.

Some of my friends were very surprised of my plan to build a website in

English. Though my writing English is not quite good, indeed, and the

construction may be very difficult, I'm going to

Virus in ATM?!

What's the most important thing to a bank? The safety of

accounts, I think. China Merchants Bank was considered by many depositors

to be a modernized and safe bank, particularly at a time when e-commerce is

a hot issue.

But at the middle of today, when I inserted my card into CMB's ATM,

something incredible happened. "Virus Detected: W32.Femot.Worm", the

machine warned me on the screen. I pushed on the "cancle" button and get my

card back, as quickly as possible.

On the way back to dorm, I'm thinking about the questions like "Will the

worm send my ID and password to some crackers through the net?" and "How

did the stupid ATM infected by the virus?"...

It's about two years ago when I used CMB's ATM for the first time. The

flash animation played on the screen told me that it runs on microsoft

windows system. At the moment, I doubted whether the machine will be in a

dangerous situation one day. And now, it really comes!

Maybe I'd try to find a safer bank tomorrow.
